Suggested AI Prompts to Align Standards for Academic Integration

Generative AI apps can support the instructional planning step of alignment of standards. CTE teachers should have a list of technical and work behavior competencies for their program.  These competencies are student learning career standards. Academic subjects have learning standards usually defined by the state.  Through learning technical skills, CTE students often acquire, apply, or deepen many of these academic standards. It is essential to document the alignment of these standards. This list of AI prompts can help teachers more quickly and thoroughly document aligned standards. Plug these into one of the Generative AI apps and explore ideas for your planning and instruction. Generative AI can be used in three teacher paradigms: Creation, Support, and Empowerment.

 

 AI-Creation - Brainstorming is a strength of AI.  Use the search and writing capabilities to identify the purposes of integration and the related subjects to explore and standards to include.

 

●      How can integrating academic standards into CTE programs enhance college and career readiness for students?

●      What challenges arise from misalignment between CTE curriculum and academic standards, and how can they be addressed?

●      Suggest ways to align [specific CTE subject] with academic standards in math, science, or language arts.
